Track rules

1

A briefing before every session

How the kart works, the flags, overtaking: five minutes with a track marshal before anyone drives.

2

Full-face helmet provided

Helmets in every size with a disposable balaclava; a neck brace for children.

3

Closed shoes, nothing that floats

Long hair tied up, no scarf or loose hood: anything that hangs out can catch on the kart.

4

Minimum ages

Our rule: children's karts from age 7, adult karts from 14. The height needed for each kart is shown at reception.

The flags you will see

Yellow

Danger ahead: slow down, no overtaking.

Blue

A faster kart is behind you: keep your line and let it pass.

Black

Return to the pits: the marshal wants a word.

Chequered

End of the session: one slow lap, then the pits.

From reception to the chequered flag

01

Arrive 20 minutes early

Registration at reception, karts allocated by height and age.

02

The briefing

Flags, braking, overtaking: the marshal explains, you ask your questions.

03

Helmet on

Balaclava, helmet adjusted, belts and neck brace checked for the youngest.

04

On the track

A warm-up lap, then the session. Every lap is timed and shown on the screen.

Before you come

From what age can you drive?

Children's karts from age 7 and adult karts from 14, under our track rules. Each kart also has a minimum height, shown at reception.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes and closed shoes. Long hair tied up, no scarf or loose hood. Helmet and balaclava are provided.

Can I drive if I am pregnant?

No. Karting is not open to pregnant women, nor to people with back or neck problems: tell us when booking if in doubt.

What happens if it rains?

The indoor track runs whatever the weather. On the outdoor track, sessions continue in light rain with adapted speed; in a storm they are moved.

Are the laps timed?

Yes, every lap is timed and shown on the screen by the track. For grands prix, the results sheet is sent by email.

Do I need to book?

Not for a single session on a weekday. For groups, birthdays, company events and weekend evenings, book ahead so we keep the track and the karts for you.
